FREE
When my eyes can no longer see and my ears can no longer hear.
I will know that I have been set free of my fear.
Fear to be me, Fear of finding out
what is really supposed to be...
Looking back on the blessings that I have missed
Anticipating that warm Spring kiss
When I can no longer feel the wind on my face, and no
longer have my palate taste life.
I want to know that my sound has been set free,
Free to acknowledge all the wonder this life and beyond
has to bare and have no fear that I will
get there. For, I have not been the best.
So on this side I will overcome my fears,
feel the wind on my face, let my palate tantalize
life's luscious taste and not re-trace the pain
that once reside.
With my mind, body and soul open to receive
the blessings that God has in store for me.
I will face the person that I am supposed to be
Look beyond my fears and be free
