A SOLDIER’S GAME

When you are a soldier you become part of a serious game.
In any game there are rules if you want to avoid loss and pain.
Walk slowly and keep your footsteps close together but not in chains.
Fight with all of your strength until no one or nothing else remains.
Watch your back and don’t become a target for someone else to aim.
Should you fall in combat remember that you suffer not in vain.
Soldiers live forever and in hearts they shall boldly speak your name.
