A FIVE STAR QUESTION

Who started the fight?
No one asked my permission to break my heart in two.

What was it all about anyway?
The wrong or right thing no one could do.

Why did the war have to be so cruel?
No one has an answer to that.

Where do we go when the war is over?
No one knows where peacetime is at.

When can we recover what was lost?
No one cares all the lines haves been crossed,

All’s fair in love and war,
keepers and captors have all paid a heavy cost.

It’s a war of words and at the end of the day
there’s not much left to say.

We fall in and out and somehow in the silence everything’s ok.

Behind the walls of silence it’s unfair –
but that’s the only place to go.

The feelings of love are still part of the war,
many of us used to know.
