COURAGE IN THE CAMP
On a wall a message gouged,
"I believe in the sun when it's not there."
On a window raindrops left
droplets of water like the tears we share.
Something in common, shared by all,
Was this little message on a wall.
It was gouged into their very heart,
When ever darkness came to call.
He wrote a note for all to see,
"God loves and will never abandon me."
All those who saw and read the lines,
Were ready to enter eternity.
