A WAR IN BRIEF
When we are at war death and danger are present as we live.
But how did we take it and how much were we able to give.
To sum up in brief what we achieved and what it was about.
Thinking positive for the negatives we can do without.
When the war is over someone has won and someone has lost.
What once belonged to them or us has become the total cost.
There is still anger there and a feeling of a debt unpaid.
It is badness versus kindness and very little is said.
Belief in a victory is the solution to it all.
The blind can't see; the lame cannot walk.
Thank God the bombs can't fall.
