even when you know
that the destination
is oblivion
just this side of infinity
a little to the left
of all that is the remainder
where nothing enters
and nothing exits
but only changes form
you want to tell all
but no one speaks
the language
and understanding
is a sometime thing
because this life
is a moving target
and what goes around
comes around
the singer apologies
for the inconvenience
of the locale of the gathering
to hear him
after years of waiting
and then gives us music
for a small room
and it all ends
too soon, too soon,
because for the cosmic answer
to the unasked question
and the solution to everything
we are still
