I’ve fallen in love
with an image of my face
I seem to see it in
every place

the sun shines through
the crack in the blinds
for there is a crack in everything
that is how the light gets in
its always raining somewhere
otherwise
there would be no there
there

and what comes around
goes around
be it death or life
on sacred ground

it is the day of the cliché
and old sayings from the shelf
all because I like this image of the
self
