is the oil slick
from that viscous BP whore
but there is a hard rain a fallin’.

Katrina still on New Orleans back
and a super bowl win
nice as it was
is hardly a suitable pay back
first they killed the neighbourhood
now they kill the food
all that’s needed
is a nuclear holocaust
to kill New Orleans real good.

They will come for the music next
with a terrible crack and thump
cause who needs the music
in a smelly toxic waste dump.

Those who used say that only the
Bush thieves
can play
now whine that the Obama man
should have come earlier to save the day
cause who need rules
when things are good
after all rules are for fools
until the banks and corporations loot and befoul
the neighbourhood.

They opine in a typical American whine
that this is America’s worst ever oil spill
but this touches every shore
it’s not just an American tragedy anymore.

The morons and tea baggers
chanting
Drill baby Drill
wave their assault weapons
sound a little pathetic, idiotic and shrill.
Lead by the open mouth idiots of the right
you betcha dimwit Palin
and the slack jaw
drooling
drug addict Rush Limbaugh.

But there is a hard rain a fallin’
and no amount of rhetoric
is going to change anything
and all the dying animals
are a calling
when it rains
it don’t rain just on one man’s house
cause every where
a hard rain is a fallin’.
