THE PILTDOWN MAN

Could creation bring to existence something from nothing,
Thereby sealing inspired comprehension;
The scholar to leave in hypertension.
Just some grand conspiracy and dust for coughing?

Would privation bring a fool the want for frothing,
Where through stealing comes higher attention.
Squalor to grieve in, a viper's penchant.
Just one brand of con-piracy and lust for scoffing?

Nature of course has no need to be defended.
She is consistent without need to conceal, cold traced.
Mankind with remorse, should indeed be offended
And be resistant to fools greed and con-zeal, boldfaced.
