SHE DOESN'T KNOW

I met her in a chat room
Husband had just told her he wanted out
I was tending virtual bar
I listened to her trouble
And responded where I could
It made her feel better and worse
We chatted every night
She'd tell me about her day
With a wonderful southern drawl

She doesn't know
That she captured my heart
Even though we had not met
She doesn't know
I love her personality
Her character, her heart
She sent me her picture
Oh my lord, help me
Those eyes are overwhelming

I won a trip to Florida
Where she had been on a business trip
We had dinner nothing more
A lobster and conversation
That held me spellbound
As I drank in her beautiful face and eyes
She doesn't know
That I could only think of her
That she spoiled me for others

Even though I tell her
She can't bring herself to believe
That she is that special
I would do anything for her
Pack up my duffle bag
And move across country.
She doesn't know
That I love her
She doesn't know.
