SWORN TO SECRECY
Clouds tint grey the skies
As a coffin under a flag lies
She sits silent, red hair and green eyes
Does she know that I told her those lies
I am sworn to secrecy
Training accident was untrue
Would it be better if you knew
What it was we had to do;
What it was that took him from you
I am sworn to secrecy
You deserve to know what took his life,
You were his beautiful, loving wife
and a close friend of the lady mine
I will tell you some day some time
I am sworn to secrecy
I’m lost deep in a state of frustration
He died deep in a far away nation
Fighting in a drug plantation
Trying to save children from addiction
I am sworn to secrecy
