PONDERING
Have you ever woken to a Magpie?
Or a Kookaburra's laugh
And looked out across a river
As flat as a sheet of glass
To see the Catfish jumping
With the Callop, Bream and Cod
The serenity and peace just makes you
Want to give the Man upstairs a thankful nod
You could go out fishing in a boat
Or just sit down on the bank and ponder
Why human beings have to mess it up
It really makes one wonder
I truly hope it's not too late
To turn the world around
So that all of our future Races
Can forge ahead in leaps and bounds.
