VENGEANCE

It is enough that I just speak the truth,
and trust myself to see with limpid eye,
For I am not the judge of one uncouth,
Lest my burden becomes the others lie.
Vengeance is not the Lords but mine,
For it is my role to protect my own,
For sometimes the scriptures though divine,
Leave destiny with me alone.
Yet Vengeance looms in many forms,
Ensuring that the foe will win,
By gathering to the breast vile storms,
That turn my way to that of him.
Thus I do wait for the time to come,
Then all that’s needed will be done.
