YOU ARE AN AMERICAN
You are an American in the land of the free,
Liberty upheld as far as the eye can see.
The epitome of hope for free enterprise,
But spoiled by socialism; all of it dies.
Dictatorial governments offer sweet tea,
But the sugar they use kills the roots of the tree.
Do you care if an unborn baby unwillingly dies,
Murdered under a system of careful disguise,
Just to further self gain while really a slave,
To a system that spends more than it saves.
There is freedom in wealth and the wealthy you serve,
You all want to be them, but to straighten the curve,
Would mean liberty lost which you do not deserve,
But I believe in your hearts, love will prevail and preserve.
