THE WAYSIDE SEEDS
There is a winter, there is a spring,
There is an opposite for everything,
Which means though you can state a view,
There’s an equal chance it isn’t true.
What you believe is for self gain,
Though it might cause another pain,
Love is a private personal thing,
To which we all In some way cling
Be it to mark a false God’s way,
Or serve those folk born to be gay.
In being true they must be brave,
That silently they do not crave,
What causes them to feel loves joy,
Though it may well their lives destroy
