THE WAY I SEE YOU
Someone said something about pretending,
This is the message to me you are sending,
The guilt in your words are but foolish absurds,
With deception tis truth you’re defending.
You followed your own prejudice and thought,
In a trap I had set you were caught,
Now admittance you evade of the mistake that you made,
To snide insult you’d rather resort
At least now you are not thinking of you,
As it is obvious that’s all that you do,
Now you can blame me, for the demons you see,
And forget all about being so blue.
If you think me loud and abusive you’re wrong,
I am actually shy and quiet you see,
And what you might hide is for you to decide,
Just be what you are and be free.
You may not know it because you are wrong,
That to the human race you belong,
The folk you despise because you fear your own lies
Are all singing the same bloody song.
So go ahead blame me for your tears,
For your errors and self cultivated fears,
But you will find in the end that I am your friend,
But that might take a few years.
