THE LORD SAID

The Lord said resist none who are evil,
Give your shirt if they take your cloak,
Yet most who would claim to be believers,
Would think such a thing just a joke.
Turn your face let the blow be repeated,
How many men would be so restrained,
Their pride would not let them be defeated,
As their foe would have so valorously claimed.
Do not men debate just for the purpose,
Of pleasing their own egos and pride,
With words unimportant and verbose,
Reaching out to be top of the tide?
Man is such a hypocritical pretender…
Who comes to believe his own fiction and lies.
