THE INNER CONNECTION
~ 1 ~
Yet what can I say of the woman,
She is the giver of the lives we take,
She believes that the man should govern,
With a strong hand for her own sake.
She praises him as her hero,
When he rids life of his adversary and foe,
But is saddened and lost if her hero,
Is the one who suffers the blow.
His strength and power and riches,
Will attract her despite herself,
For her babies do better with riches,
Gain more strength and power from wealth.
For the spirit of nature has decided,
The providers will be in the best of health.

Though it is the state of our minds that drive us,
Like all life we cherish our young,
For we are linked to the spirit that guides us,
For to mother nature we all belong.
Her savage beauty redolent with elegance,
That serves our eyes with wondrous grace,
Tests our strength, sincerity and patience,
Hides not the truth that we face.
She is merciless never altering her pattern,
She supplies the air that we breathe
Ensuring the mystery continues to fatten
Our faith in what we believe
While death guards the mystery of life,
Lest we choose not to live it and leave.

Yet we must discover the inner connection,
The link between human and God:
That is the path to the ultimate erection
Of immortal spirits long perished in sod.
We must open the doorway of mystery,
Cross the veil with bright stars in our eyes,
Changing all that is vile in history,
That we love all of the folk we despise.
For this power is the love that we share,
The will, to seek friendship and peace,
We are born with this magic in there
That is waiting for the soul to release.
Seek, and you’ll find, if you care,
For the inner connection brings ultimate peace.
