THE INJUSTICE OF MAN

The intellectual vulgarness of a society that kills,
An inchoate logic which cruel desire fulfils
Is a moral practice dictated, by the criminal who dies,
And those who don’t hear their terrible cries.
The inhumane cruel torture of the man in death row,
Is an example of mans foul ugliness you know,
And those black folk who die, most innocent of blame,
Are the bravest of men defeated by shame.
Does it matters who dies, so long as someone is found,
To satisfy the public; to indifference bound…?
For nobody cares and nobody knows,
Of the pathetic cruel torture the condemned man undergoes.
While in the name of God the executioner is true,
Doing a deed that few of those gloating could do.
