THE ENEMY WITHIN

~ 1 ~

If we let a bad seed grow it will evolve,
Germinate into and evil stem of hate.
Into a system that we can’t resolve,
For once the nettle grows it is too late.
You cannot stamp out evil that has grown,
For it becomes a part of nature’s fruit,
Its seeds will spread to every acre known;
Among the good sweet flowers sink its root.
Once established it will school its youth,
In the education systems of its peaceful host,
It will then plot and scatter much untruth,
Move through society like a pious ghost,
That the foundations of our culture will be marred,
While we upon our pedestals stand unscarred.

~ 2 ~

Peer pressure is a servant of sin,
Developing the desire to want to do wrong;
It is where evil will often begin,
Among people unsure where they belong.
Deception is the Devil’s device,
And temptation his manipulative wand,
That hate will live on you like lice,
That without remedy you cannot respond.
Political correctness is satanic politics,
It favours the Devils intent,
And I am one who sincerely predicts,
It will cause a chaos we cannot prevent.
So when you invite the foe into your camp,
Take care where you allow him to tramp.
