THE BOOK

The bible is a book that is written by lots of men;
None of whom we know; or where they wrote or when.
If the words they wrote are true we can only guess,
its interpretations are up to you, or your tutors: Yes?
But when people want to tell me, what they believe is right,
And what I believe is bullshit, then they just want a fight.
And I am so obliging, I want to find out if they’re thick
Or are just criticizing; I like to know what makes ‘em tick
Most folk don’t care either way, they are happy just to dream,
To hope things work out in the end better than it’s been.
Even if there were no God, if we believe enough and trust,
Our faith would render so much power he’d materialize from dust.
So regardless of your notions expectations and your care,
Ask yourselves where love comes from and pray you find out where.
