I am greatly humbled,
My family of inspirational poets;

If there was no beauty in your hearts
How could I make it known?
I could not scribe the words to say
What you’ve already sown

‘Tis by the measure of your deeds
That one defines life’s worth
The essence formed within those seeds
You cast about the Earth

I’m but a Poet using words
To express your richer grace
To try to keep alive the love
In that sweet sacred place,

Deep within the human soul
Where love and kindness dwells
Where the flower of goodness is defined
By the hatred that it quells

God bless you all who seek goodwill
Express but love and truth
For love on Earth we can fulfil
For you are the living proof
