THANK GOD FOR THOSE IN POWER

Thank God for those with power,
And the will to reach a goal,
Providing jobs worked by the hour,
By most people of the whole.
It is the rich that keep us yearning,
And envying their way,
As we struggle to be earning,
What it is they provide as pay.
What would we do without them,
Life would never be the same,
We would have no tide to stem,
And no one for it to blame.
But then it would not matter,
For we would all have one name.
