RELIGION
Religion is an element meant to divide us,
That we do not become our own God;
Millions die that the earth might provide us,
With more acres to plant food in the sod.
Religion establishes morals for living,
Imposing rules on natural desires
Promotes humility and generous giving,
But obedience is a need it requires.
It is established in the brain of the child,
Long before it can think on its own,
Indoctrinated in the particular style
That over time has been nurtured and grown.
To become an institution of dictatorial persuasion,
That covers up all the ills of its own.
