QUESTION AND COMPLAIN
Question and complain, else bear thy shame,
For serving blindly brings another fame,
Who would deceive you to enrich his firm
With all the pennies you do slave to earn.
Let not emotion well up in your eye,
For then you’ll waken to an ill surprise,
For in your anger you will miss the mark,
And catch a herring you had thought a shark.
Stand up, be seen, make your office known,
Seek those who love you; never stand alone.
And while the Law keeps the truth at bay,
‘Tis by its substance you will have your say,
Change the world because you have complained,
For by persistence truth will be sustained
