POLITICS AND RELIGION
With whom can one speak, if there is no reply,
What image in silence can decorate the eye,
What topic ignored can ever be debated,
If it cannot be demeaned nor be overrated!
In your kindness you pray; thank God for the roses,
Never thinking of the issues such assumption proposes,
For religion is present intimidating and directed,
At many who may well impolitely have objected.
Politics set prices, provide reasons for actions,
Give purpose to living make the laws for transactions,
And for people who have much idle time to dispose,
They provide the liquid to lubricate the hose,
Politics and Religion provide anxiety escapes,
For those who hate war, comic strips and rapes.
