OBSERVATIONS

Sympathy degenerates to delirium,
Restraint leads to tyrannous rule,
Liberty leads to certification,
Of greed and the indulgent fool.
Bigotry is germinated in religion
Superstition through fear of God;
Racial difference leads to brutality,
Discrimination to argufied sod.
Fear of reprisal leads to the lie,
And guilt mishandles the truth,
Affluence takes the sound from the cry,
And condemns without any proof.
That no one is asking why,
Facts are vague or are conveniently aloof.
