OBSERVABLE TRUTH

Death is the ruler of the Earth,
which we seek to overcome,
By changing the values of our worth;
That God’s promise will be done.
But man is not of righteous blood,
He was made to fight and fear,
And form from it a brotherhood,
To share its love and tear.
The nature of the Earth is such;
Life must struggle to survive,
Regardless of religious crutch
That fails to keep a soul alive.
For death will always have its way,
Proved by life’s known demise.
