MAY FOOLS

We can expect them to harass us,
Intimidate and provoke,
But while they waste their efforts,
We’ll sit and smile and joke.
What fools they are who taunt us,
Who are of lower form,
Which raises greater laughter,
And strengthens our reform.
We do of course forgive them,
Though we may anger feel,
For they can’t help their treachery
That causes them to steal.
And so we’ll pray for all of them
That their sickness, God will heal.
