LET US STRIVE

Let us strive to be independent;
yet as organic units of humanity,
in the universal brotherhood
of unity in humility.
Let each individual link himself to God,
of his own accord.
Let him find his own truth,
through Christ’s divine word.
Plague not the mind of man,
with doctrines of the church,
which possess and distort him,
as would the birch!
Let him find his own enlightenment,
from his own eager search.
