LET US BELIEVE THEN
Let us believe then; what we don’t know,
Turn into warm blossoms; petals of snow,
See what is not there; to rearrange thought,
That battlefields of slaughter become our resort.
Let us laugh loudly, at hunger and pain,
When only lost hope, is the truth that remains.
Let us stand boldly, in the face of the foe,
Protected by believers who think they all know
That the phantom of pureness is a myth so absurd
That it keeps us from harm, every person and bird.
Let us believe what we know to is untrue,
That the Lord that we praise is kinder to you.
Let us just close our eyes and look the other way
Denying the stench as our bodies decay.
