LET TRUTH PREVAIL

All that which I have suffered with great cost,
Will at my death have been forever lost.
But those things that these loving eyes conceal,
Will in your lifetime to many more reveal,
The reason why I collaborate with the truth,
Is not to spoil and spit with factual proof.
But yet to heighten trust and self belief,
That from rue and disappointment there’s relief,
And understanding takes tolerance by the hand,
To dance together to a grateful band,
That plays soft music for us one and all,
Lest we from our fair places trip and fall.
Yet being unique express our selves with pride,
Full knowing that the truth can’t be denied.
