LEFTY

Dissent is at the forefront of his tongue,
And drips recusant from his toxic lip.
He seems not to know that what he does is wrong,
His brain does not his mind such thoughts equip.
Pietistic thoughts more often beguile his brain,
Bigotry being the enchantment he perceives,
An opposing view he cannot entertain,
For he condemns all that the other one believes.
He is an expert with the defamatory phrase,
Criticizing those who find success or fame,
Though his own wealth he’d think not to erase,
As he flints the spark to ignite the destructive flame.
Fear not his idle talk when times are fair,
But fear him most when you feel despair
