KINDRED OF LOVE

What do you achieve by constantly criticizing?
It changes nothing outside of your self.
What do you think it does to you, constantly despising?
It can’t be good for your health!!
What do you gain from suspicion and distrust?
You become the picture you paint.
You are throwing a boomerang at wind blowing dust;
You must be disciplined by showing restraint.
Now you may think that I am undisciplined like you,
But you see (and I never will lie),
I try to live in the skin of the people I view
As worthy subjects to better my eye.
And mostly I find they are kindred of love
Though my truth they mostly deny.
