INSPIRATIONAL DIUTURNITY
I walk in the shadow of her spirit,
She who made my heart feel free,
Who gave me love without limit,
Without once asking anything of me.
Whose great wisdom was lost to the wind,
To be used in a higher place,
Of which mortals can’t comprehend
Where of ugliness there is no trace.
Powerful is the spirit of the unmet…
Hands touching that have never touched;
Binding without regret,
All that we could never have clutched,
That from our open palms flies free,
Leaving sad joy, here within me.

You, my friend, are a Master Wordsmith. I could never in a hundred years come up with anything even faintly resembling this. It’s no wonder that she was so enthralled with your writings and saved everything that you wrote.
Excellent doesn’t seem to say enough but it’s the best that this old trooper can come up with.
