I THINK OF YOU
I recall you had a brother;
you do not have anymore,
though you have another,
the lost one you recall.
You have lived the life he missed,
And appreciate what he lost
All the ladies he’s not kissed,
All the landmarks he’d have crossed.
I have tried to visualize,
The sorrow you must know,
As I thank God for my own,
Who still survive and grow,
More precious as I age,
More than they’ll ever know.
