I DON’T EXPECT TO BE RIGHT

I’ve never professed to be right;
That’s for the opinion of others
But it certainly promotes my delight
If someone, assistance discovers.
All I can do is write
And express my feelings and thought
In order that somebody might
Receive a better report.
Who knows? Some soul might agree
And prosper in what he believes;
For we are all leaves on a tree
Cooled by the same summer breeze.
No, I don’t expect to be right,
Lest others lose sight of their might.
