FOOLS

One can never claim a victory over someone who’s a fool;
For to overcome ones equal is the accepted general rule.
It is a matter just of patience; the lesser adversary will run
When he comes to the conclusion he has no bullets for his gun.
One can never gloat or boast about a victory over haste
That spurs the fool to action all his energy to waste;
For you can only win a battle if you know your cause is true,
And stand your ground with dignity, prepared to see it through.
There is never shame in calling for a truce to end a war,
But fools seldom share this point of view so the battle rages as before.
But time alas will dawn on him, that the fool will seek an out,
Deciding on some poor excuse for truth is not what he’s about.
So the battle dies the ashes cold, burnt negative wasted tools;
A reminder that the world can’t run when it is run by fools.
