FAITH

Faith is a word that will be born again,
Its day will never be done.
It will never lead you deliberately to shame,
And will brighten the days yet to come.
Faith means doing the things we believe,
It is not encased in a stagnant word,
It is not based on desire; things we receive,
Tis like the busy wings of a bird.
It threads life together nations and things,
Giving us confidence in one another,
But when it breaks down and warfare begins
Then we find brother is fighting against brother
For where there’s no faith everyone sins,
And the dark part of ourselves we discover
