EXPERIENCE V EDUCATION
There is great advantage in school education,
As one without it would unfortunately know,
Though the educated are not necessarily intelligent,
Without education it’s a hard row to hoe.
Experience counts for much but education,
Prepares the mind for the experience perceived,
It adds emotional strength and self confidence,
To one suffering from experience received.
All in all one can survive without education,
And learn much from experience alone,
But the advantage of having good schooling,
One with intelligence would surely condone.
For it establishes the foundations for thinking,
Growing flowers where there might have been stone.
