DIABETES
First you must accept that you have it,
Then off to a dietician you must go,
For you must to be healthy control it,
For it intends to kill you, you know.
It is a disease insidious and silent,
That feeds on the nerves of the obese,
It is persistently determined and defiant,
Only by eating the right foods will it cease.
Self-control is needed to manage,
The hunger that is so difficult to fight,
But one must determine to defeat this savage,
By eating a diet that is digestibly right
For if your sugar is not a satisfactory level,
Shorter becomes the life of your light.
