CHILDREN

If we punish the child for telling the truth,
Then we give them a reason for telling a lie,
You cannot accuse someone without any proof,
Though with a child it seems many will try.
Women, it seems, are tolerated by men,
Because women are often just tolerating them,
Which may be significant at the end of the day
When incompatible people are wanting to play.
If you wanted to anger any individual man
You could talk to him as though he were a boy
If you spoke to a boy as you would to a man,
You would share in his heart a moment of joy.
True are these words that I have to say,
And I bid you good people a very good day.
