BLACK AND WHITE
The righteous and the wicked are extremes,
Black and white, as one would say,
What then of the in betweens;
The twilight of the evening and day.
Dawn is not sudden; dusk is not quick!
The sun is slow to rise…
And long do the shadows lick
The slowly dimming skies.
When the tide ebbs much is seen,
When it flows the beach is hidden,
But there is much in between,
That is acceptable and forbidden.
So what are black and white…
Somewhat like wrong and right?
