BECAUSE I REALLY CARE

I have done so much for so many,
But so many have done so little for me,
I guess, because I never asked of any,
And nothing is given for free.
Forget about heart and soul,
Use what you have in your brain,
For whatever might be your goal,
In the end death is all you gain.
Mistake not love for truth and trust,
Words with actions you must compare,
Love lives not in speech and lust,
But dwells in the things you share.
I have done much for so many,
And saved them my despair.
