THE HORSE BREAKER

Self worship makes me sad; the flattery maker.
So very, very sad; the deceptive mind taker.
Some walk together in different directions;
Seeing only their own reflections
In perceived resurrections...
And I am the horse breaker... the undertaker!
All through the summer his days are fine...
In many ways resembling mine...
But in winter the clouds hide his sun
Until the summer doth come.
The fair weather gentleman... but a gentleman,
For he wears his own perception,
By his own election...
And I am the horse breaker... the undertaker.
