SCIENCE AND RELIGION

~ 1 ~

Religion retreats before the tide of science,
No longer a truth with notable reliance,
For as we learn from the treasury of space,
Of God it seems there isn’t any trace.
Stubborn minds from yesterday’s domain,
Object with passion but cannot explain,
Why superstition is accepted over knowledge,
And blind faith is the structure of their college.
This paper God from which man’s power oozes,
Denies man’s will to do as he chooses
It’s Churches fighting for complete control
Amassing servants on their dictatorial roll,
While in frustration adapt uncertain truth,
To stolen Science as their doubtful proof.

~ 2 ~

When life was formed without the bluffing,
A random event in a timeless nothing,
When time from the lack of time first started,
And life from Earth without inquest departed.
Before the mind of man could think its Logic,
To make him the expert, pedagogic,
Writing down his thoughts in books,
Equations changing how one looks,
At real things to perceive their truth,
Accepting things without the proof,
There was no need of Gods and creeds,
For religious beliefs, and spiritual needs,
For the truth was in the great event,
From a mysterious nowhere clearly sent.
