HE
Can he describe a scene he has not seen?
Can he describe where he has never been?
Can he know death? Can he recall his birth
or know of heaven still living on the Earth?
He knows desire and the passion to survive;
that he must eat and drink to stay alive…
he knows from death that no man ere comes back;
that he is strong due to what his foe doth lack.
He knows the less he talks the more he hears,
that the more he knows the less he fears;
that his actions are his life’s display,
and should not be judged by what he has to say…
yet having been where few have gone,
must share it all with everyone.
