ATTITUDES
If we don't have hope we don't have care,
And misery would dominate everywhere,
That's why we listen for the creators voice,
Because we were given that simple choice.
We can kill and maim or just be good,
Do as we want or as we should,
So long as we know who pulls the strings,
It matters not what tomorrow brings.
Being kind ain't half that bad,
And there is no joy in being sad,
So dry your tears and weep no more,
For the poor are rich and the rich are poor.
Believe me children I well know,
Why the grass grows green and the rivers flow,
And why we tend the sacred sod,
For it's there we rest to await our God.
