ASK YOUR GOD

Ask your God to save them; the children of my rhyme,
Let us see his love expressed his compassion so divine
Show me more than words that you quote with your tongue
For no child should live in poverty tis not where they belong.
Millions on earth do suffer because life is harsh and cruel,
And soldiers die in battle to establish someone's rule.
So where is the God almighty that you pray to all the while,
Show me what he's really done his activities please compile.
You can preach your way through sermons but it is all just talk,
Words perform no action; that's why men have legs to walk.
Belief! Belief!! Belief in what: redemption when you die?
Faith in what: the ransom, death – the everlasting lie?
When all we know is hopelessness the fear of death perceived,
And every thinking person knows that they are being deceived.
