AS IT ALWAYS HAS BEEN
All that we see as beauty
is really cruel and harsh,
From the lustrous forest mountains,
To the tea-trees of the marsh.
Nature is a struggle,
of butchery and deceit,
Torture and destruction,
ambition and conceit.
It is all about survival,
In a world designed for sin,
Overcoming every rival;
Death will always win
For that’s the way of nature,
As it has always been.
